Who We Serve.
In Maryland, chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension are the leading causes of death, disability, and high health care costs. The primary consumers supported by our organization are senior citizens, mentally challenged, physically challenged, and vulnerable populations.
What We Offer.
Health Empowerment Network of Maryland, Inc. offers services that link consumers to comprehensive collaborative prevention and intervention support services to those who are described as senior citizens, low-to-moderate income, and vulnerable populations.

Health Empowerment Network of Maryland, Inc. (HENMaryland) was founded on November 17, 2011 in Seat Pleasant, Maryland by former Mayor Eugene W. Grant. HENMaryland was initially capitalized in January of 2012 by one of its social impact investors, Integrity Health Partners, Inc. (IHP) located in Columbus, Ohio which was an Ohio Corporate Subsidiary of a Swiss Parent Company named Integrity Health International AG located in Zurich, Switzerland. IHP, an Ohio corporation, is more than an expert healthcare management consulting company because of its role and commitment to be a better community partner with Local Health Improvement Coalitions. IHP's Healthcare and Health IT Professionals with program expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers Compensation are directly involved in assessing each client's situation and their readiness for implementing a community-based care innovation model. IHP's professional staff identifies goals and barriers to reaching them, designing multi–faceted solutions for overcoming barriers, and ongoing technical assistance for implementation.
