who we serve
In Maryland, chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and hypertension are the leading causes of death, disability, and high health care costs. The primary consumers supported by our organization are senior citizens, mentally challenged, physically challenged, and vulnerable populations.
What We Offer.
Health Empowerment Network of Maryland, Inc. offers services that link consumers to comprehensive collaborative prevention and intervention support services to those who are described as senior citizens, low-to-moderate income, and vulnerable populations.
Since 2011, Health Empowerment Network of Maryland, Inc. has been a community-based leader offering outstanding services to consumers in challenged communities with tremendous health disparities, low educational attainment levels, high unemployment, economic inactivity, underutilized businesses, and broadband adoption challenges.
Our team and strategic partners are experts at designing systems, methodologies, and strategies that connect challenged populations to the services they need to achieve outcomes and positively impact the greater society. Using our network of professionals, we have partnered with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, faith-based institutions, and the private sector to conduct collegiate-level studies, health and fitness expos, chronic disease education classes, and more, uplifting the community.
